We love talking about wine and have to find ways to describe ways to describe it, that include fruit flavours like blackberry, pear, apple or raspberry, but WAIT….wine is made from grapes and grapes don’t taste like other fruits, so how does this happen?

Simply put, when grapes are fermented into wine, they possess chemical compounds that are also in fruits, coffee, chocolate or lots of other things.  None of those things are in your wine, but the flavours of them are definitely there and help us, help you find wine that you will love.  Love Sauvignon Blanc, but don’t like peachy flavours, then you want to stay away from Viognier.

New Hard Cider

We are now making delicious, gluten free Hard Cider in our winery.  For $99 you get 23 litres of delicious Apple, Pear, Strawberry Pear or Spiced Apple Cider.  They take us about 2 weeks to make and then you have to be patient and leave them alone for 2-4 weeks to carbonate.  Click here for all of the details or contact us and we will be happy to walk you through the process.

Chocolate Orange Port
We have some Chocolate Orange Port kits remaining in the store.  This decadent port makes 30-375ml bottles or 15-750ml bottles and sells for $149 to make in our winery or $84 to take home.  Send us a message or call if you are interested.
