Most of us are familiar with Red Wine Sangria but did you know that a White Wine Sangria is a tasty twist on the popular drink? One of the reasons Sangria is so popular is because it is so versatile and quite inexpensive to make. Any type of fruit combination is delicious such as peaches, strawberries, oranges or grapefruit. While Red Wine Sangria will always be a beloved choice, alternating the white wine for red makes it a lighter punch that has also become a celebrated crowd pleaser.
Recipe:
- 1 (750 ml) bottle dry white wine
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- ice
- 4 slices lime
- 4 slices lemon
- 4 slices green apples
- 1 bunch green grapes
- 1 cup club soda
- Directions:
- 1. Combine white wine, brandy, and sugar in a large pitcher, then stir in ice. Continue stirring until the sugar is dissolved, then add the lime, lemon, apples, and grapes. Stir in the club soda.
