I always seem to be talking about the weather or the change of seasons whenever I write to you….and unfortunately today will be no different!  For me, Fall brings about more red wine to enjoy during chilly evenings with my slippers on.  The joys and perils of being a full-time “wino” is that there is always lots of wine to chose from for an occasion or just because.

October always brings the launch of our Limited Editions for 2013 and that has us very excited….read on for more details.  If you have never tried these wines, now is the time…the lineup is fabulous!

When you send a friend or family member to make wine with us, they will get wine that they will love AND hopefully share with you. Plus you will get a small gift from us in the mail.  All they have to do is mention your name when they start their first batch of wine and we will take care of the rest.

We have a great sale on our 4-5 week World Vineyard kits which include juice from vineyards around the world.  Take 10% off any World Vineyard kit, including the three new red wines with skins.  That is a savings of $14.90-$16.40 when you make your wine in our winery.  These kits mature quickly and will be PERFECT for Christmas entertaining. 

Christmas Deadlines

If you need your wine before Christmas, we have some dates that you should keep in mind.  Our wines take 4-8 weeks for all of the stages to be completed properly, to ensure a quality finished product. The last days that you can make wines are listed below.

8 Week Eclipse Wines: October 26th

6 Week Selection Wines: November 9th

5 Week World Vineyard with skins: November 16th

4 Week Vintners Reserve, World Vineyard, Island Mist Wines:       November 23rd

But, please don’t wait until the last minute to get your wine started…it could do with a little bit of time to age in the bottles.

How Do I Say That??

Wine can be intimidating!!  It shouldn’t be…what it should be is delicious and enjoyable in a group or alone.  A lot of people struggle to pronounce certain wine names, so I have started putting short videos on the website  saying the names of wine.   Go with confidence and order that wine from the snobby waiter or sommelier!!
