We finally bottled our new Enigma red wine last week, so I can finally give you our impressions of it. The first thing that I got was a big fruity mouth feel followed by a lovely smooth finish, which for a freshly bottled red wine is impressive. There is none of that sharp tannic quality to this wine. Ripe, juicy cherries, with vanilla hints is what struck me. If you enjoy Apothic Red from NB Liquor, this is the wine for you! winexpert mixed this wine to be a strong competitor to Apothic Red at a much better price than $18.99 a bottle

Mezza Luna Red

Rich and flavourful, this purposeful blend marries intense aromas and complex flavours bursting of cherry and raspberry. The rich dark colour hints at the layered oak in the finish. Delightfully complex, Mezza Luna is a powerful and lively red wine to serve with hearty meals.

Sweetness: DRY | Body: MEDIUM-FULL | Oak Intensity: MEDIUM

Mezza Luna White

Like its Selection counterpart Luna Bianca, Mezza Luna (‘Half Moon’) is Vintners Reserve’s ‘great white’ full, round and flavourful, with big fruit flavours and aromas. The oak provides a subtle yet noticeable balance to the fruit intensity. Big, lush and golden, it’s excellent to sip on its own.

California Zinfandel/Shiraz

A deep flavourful red wine with notes of raspberry, black cherries, figs, dark chocolate and a jamminess that finishes with a peppery spice.

French Sauvignon Blanc

Steely, grassy, herbaceous the classic traits of palate-cleansing Sauvignon Blanc are here in this version sourced directly from the French countryside. Crisp and dry, this refreshing wine is a fabulous match with food, as its full, fresh flavours and wonderfully balanced acidity make it essential with chicken, fish and grilled vegetables.
