Here we sit…half way through August already! February & March never seem to go as fast as July & August.  It has been a great summer so far and I am hoping that September will be warm and allow just a bit more time on the deck enjoying wine with family and friends.  We are also halfway through our Anniversary Sale that will finish on August 31st, so come in and let us help you get all stocked up for the fall and Christmas entertaining season!

Wine-On-Tap Bag

This 3 litre bag holds four bottles of wine and allows you to pour as much or as little as you like from the tap.  This bag is re-usable and sells for $4.99.  We took one on vacation with us and kept our white wine chilled in the cooler to have with our picnic lunches.  So nice not to have to worry about empty bottles and having a corkscrew!  They are fantastic for a weekend away or just if you like to have wine in the fridge…takes up a lot less space than 4 bottles!!

Anniversary Sale

We are having our best sale of the year to celebrate our Ninth Anniversary.  All Italian & Australian wines are on sale until August 31st, 2013.  They are two of the world’s largest wine producing countries and offer a wide variety of red and white wines to choose from.

Save 10% on your first wine

This is a great time to stock up and save for fall and winter!!

Australian Wine Facts

  • Australia’s signature grape is Shiraz (One of my faves!)
  • Australia is the 6th largest wine producer in the world.
  • Australia is only ranked 16th in wine drinkers, drinking just over 20 litres per person. Canadians drink 15 litres per person…just to compare 🙂
  • Australia has some of the oldest grape vines in the world because most European vines were destroyed by disease in the 18th Century.
  • Kangaroos DO eat grapes and grape vines!
