June has arrived with some lovely weather to reward us for our lack of spring and hopefully it will continue.  I am feeling the need for some deck time with some wine, of course!!  However, the black flies are vicious at the moment 🙂

We can still make wine and have it ready to enjoy this summer.  The new Strawberry Watermelon White Shiraz has been a huge seller this year and is a lovely summer sipper.  If you prefer something dry, how about a Pinot Gris or Trinity White.  Love your reds??  Try a lighter red like Bergamais, Coastal Red or Pinot Noir.  they can stand to be chilled a little bit and are great social sippers as well as easily paired with seafood or lighter barbeque fare.

The end of June is seeing Amanda leaving us to start a new chapter in her life out in Sainte-Marie with her family…she will be missed, especially by me!!  I am going to be looking for a replacement for her in the fall.  Could you be a part-time wino??

We’re not looking for “just a part timer”; the hours are what determines the name of the position, not the job function! We seek a dynamic, enthusiastic individual with a friendly open manner as well as a strong back – those wine kits each weigh minimum 30lbs & the shelves don’t stock themselves!  The hours are flexible – we’ll do our best to work around the schedule of the right applicant as we already do with our present staff.  We need a commitment of at least 15 hours per week & we are open evenings through the week as well as Saturdays.
