Cucumber Melon Sangria Made with Island Mist
Sangria is always best when it’s had a little time to sit for the flavours to mingle, so make it a few hours ahead.
To make a pitcher you will need:
- A melon baller
- 1 Bottle Winexpert Cucumber Melon Sauvignon Blanc
- 2-4 oz Gin (you can decide how strong you like it) Gin is a perfect compliment to cucumber and melon!
- 500ml sparkling water or Sprite for a sweeter version
- 10-15 cucumber slices
- Honeydew, Cantaloupe, Watermelon (or all 3)
Directions:
- Use the melon baller to make perfectly round spheres from your chosen melons
- I like to muddle a few cucumber slices in the bottom of the pitcher before adding the ingredients to enhance the flavour but this step is totally optional
- Add melon balls, ice, the wine, gin, and top with sparkling water or Sprite
- Garnish with cucumber slices
Replace the Gin with White Rum and Cucumber with fresh mint for a Melon Mojito Version. Cheers!
